Sorry to keep you waiting, the problem you can't access the PC DVR remotely would because you didn't forward the data port(5100 by default, modify in SETUP---System Setup).
Acturally, 5.37 is a very old version, 3 years ago, we released this version on 2010-04-26, we didn't have the ActiveX signed in MicroSoft. So it would be blocked by IE or so, users have to enable "ActiveX" related options in IE---Option---Security---Customize(Or just setup the security level to the lowest). And for remote access through WAN, users have to do port forwarding, forward the IE port(80 by default) and Data port(5100 by default) in the router, only in this way, the remote IE Client / iOS / Android Client can access. By the way, users have to install IE TAB in Firefox and Ghrome if they want to access through these broswers.
And if the port forwarding not succeed, or the router was not setup correctly, or the network is not so good, users maybe can not get camera list even when installed ActiveX, opened IE interface, can not get video when click "Login" button.
Please check.
