Auto restart fail
Good day everyone.

I setup my DVR to Auto-Restart at 6:00AM 7-days a week, and every morning I come to work at 8:00am I find the DVR program not running and the computer not restarted.

Its quite necessary for the PC to restart periodically and thats why I use this feature.

Please, any further help will be appreciated!

DVR Specs:

Operating System: Windows7 Ultimate with ServicePack 1 32-Bit

Power Supply: Antec TruePower 650W

Motherboard: ASUS P7H55-M PRO

CPU: Intel Core-i5 760 2.80Ghz

RAM: 2 x Kingston HyperX DDR3-1800 2.0GB = 4.0GB

HDD-Storage: 3 x 2.0TB WesternDigital SATA RE4 64MB-Cache Enterprise = 6.0TB

HDD-OS: 500GB Seagate SATA Enterprise.

Graphics: eVGA Ge-Force GT440 1GB DDR3 RAM

Capture Card: 1 x DS-4216HFVI(16-Channel D1) using NV6.63

Sorry for the long list, but im just trying to give as much information as possible.

Best Regards,

Daniel.

Hi there,

For this problem, old version may have such problem in Windows 7, especially 64 bit OS. But new version has solved this problem, please contact our sales, tell them your software version, and ask for new version software.

the driver provide with software has problem even the new release version 5.68. when you try to reboot or shutdowm, the driver will cause BLD. disable the capture card device before reboot or shutdown is the way to workaround currently.tested under w7 64 bit and w7 posready. Pls confirm .

forgot to mention it is PCI-X interface capture card.
thanks.

Hi there,

Sorry but we didn't test with the PCI-X slots, also it is not suggested to use such slots for the cards. Please try to use PCI-E slots.
