Analog and IP camera combined!

In our DVR Server software, analog cameras are connected to capture & compression cards, then if you want to add some IP devices such as IP cameras/ DVS/ EMDVR, this is supported. when all these devices are in the same software, they will be displayed correctly. But I have to say, the channels for all these devices can not exceed 64 channels.

I'm not sure what do you mean by "Can all 4 cameras display on a 4 way screen"?  If you mean you want to display these video in 4 seperate monitors, 1 channel each monitor, I think you have to use the Multi monitor function, this will reach your target.

  Best Regards.

Yes, sure.

When the software started, all the video will be displayed with software operation GUI(There isn't any bland or ampty screen/channel in video display area). If you don't want to see the software operation GUI, please just right click on the software and select "Full screen Display"

Best Regards.

Yes, you can.
The ip cameras are getting channel numbers after the last analog camera. So, in your case, the firs IP camera will be channel No9
In order to display your three analog and one ip camera in a 4 window display, you must simply go to the Matrix Setup and in the section of Display Setup, select the 9th camera to be displayed in the 4th window.

Then, when you exit setup menu, just chose the group with this modified layout.

Hope I helped :)

Hi There,

The record resolution will be the one you set in remote setup or IE of the IP camera. For example, if you set the resolution of the main stream of the camera is 1280*960, D1 for the substream, and you get main stream while connecting to the camera, you will have 1280*960 for recording. if you get substream while connecting, you will get D1 for recording. But please make sure your computer hardware can afford such big data.

  Best Regards,

Hi there,

For your problem. 1. 4 2Mpixel IP cameras------Would request Dual Core 2.4 GHz or higher CPU and 512 MB graphic RAM.
2. 8 2Mpixel IP cameras------Would request i5 or higher CPU and 512 MB graphic RAM.
3. 16 2Mpixel IP cameras------Would request i7 or higher CPU and 1G MB graphic RAM.

Hi again,

What OS do you suggest? I think that the RAM you write is not enough, especially when you perform a local search.

Hi there,

Windows XP or Windows 7 32 bit system are suggested.
And for the RAM problem, I did mean the RAM for your graphic card 512 MB or 1GB. Not system RAM. You SYSTEM RAM should be 2 GB or higher.

Best Regards
