DS-6004HC - Software destroyed, please upgrade it Hello!
We have 15 of DS-6004HC digital videoservers. Some of them are broken with electronics. One of them is semi-functioning - it not respond for PING, but answer through Windows HyperTerminal and COM-port. It says exactly: Software destroyed, please upgrade it. Please input [u/U] or [ESC] key: If I type the @ symbol to continye the boot process, it answers exactly: Please input [u/U] or [ESC] key: @ boot device : secEnd unit number : 0 processor number : 0 host name : host file name : vxWorks inet on ethernet (e) : 192.0.0.135:ffffff00 host inet (h) : 192.0.0.199 user (u) : smdk2510 ftp password (pw) : smdk2510 flags (f) : 0x8 target name (tn) : smdk2510 BOOT FROM TFFS FILE SYSTEM secEnd Attached TCP/IP interface to secEnd0. ifname : secEnd0, inetAddrs : 192.0.0.135 Attaching network interface lo0... done. ifname : lo0, inetAddrs : 127.0.0.1 Loading... 1 Error loading file: errno = 0x3c. Where can we get a software, to upgrade our DS-6004HC, to boot it properly? We can upgrade software thru internet, if you tell an address of FTP server for direct update. |

Hi there,
It seems there is some problem with your DS6004HC devices. But I'm sorry we can not help since we can not make sure where and from whom you got these devices, I don't know who produced them. So I think the best way is to ask your provider for help, ask the one from whom you bought these devices, they have the duty to deal with the problem. |

I can send you a serial number of that DVS to make you sure, that it is of your production or not.
